Flushing, N.Y.-- The John Jay women's tennis team was defeated by Hunter College, 9-0, at the National Tennis Center on Friday afternoon ending the Bloodhounds' City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) winning streak at two. Previously the Bloodhounds had defeated Medgar Evers and the City College of New York for their first two wins of the season. John Jay is back in action on Sun. Oct. 11 for a match at St. Joseph's-Long Island at the Suffolk Community College Tennis Complex at noon.
