Annapolis, Md. — The John Jay College of Criminal Justice rifle team was defeated by the United States Naval Academy on Sunday as the Bloodhounds lost in small bore 2301-2103 and air rifle 2330-2240.
In small bore,
Stephen Wilson (Freeport, NY, Freeport) led the way for John Jay with a 556, followed by
Stephen Zawislak (Valley Stream, NY, Valley Stream South) with a 553.
Jenna Hansen (Middletown, NY, Middletown)shot a 509 and
Janet Pepple (Bronx, NY, Herbert H. Lehman) a 485.
In air rifle, the Bloodhounds were once again led by Wilson with a 572, followed by Zawislak with a 558. Hansen ripped the target for a 561, while Pepple fired a 549.
