New York, N.Y. — The John Jay College of Criminal Justice Department of Athletics has released the athletics schedule for three of its fall teams for the 2009 season including men's soccer, women's volleyball and women's tennis.
The men's soccer team is scheduled to play 19 regular season home games this season, including seven home contests at the Metropolitan Oval in Queens. The Bloodhounds will also travel to Albany, N.Y. for the second year in a row where they will face elite competition at the Union College Classic tournament.
The women's volleyball schedule consists of seven home dates and eight home matches. John Jay will host a tri match on Sat. Oct. 3 against Ramapo College and Polytechnic Univ. The Bloodhounds will also compete in numerous tournaments and are scheduled to play 30 matches during the regular season.
Women's tennis has 14 matches, including five at home.
The men's and women's cross country schedules are in the midst of being finalized and will be released in the coming weeks.
