The John Jay College of Criminal Justice baseball team will conduct open tryouts for position players at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday September 14, and for pitchers on Thursday September 16. Tryouts will be conducted in the main gymnasium located on the fourth floor of Haaran Hall at 899 Tenth Avenue. In order to try out you MUST have PROOF OF A PHYSICAL from a physician clearing you to participate. You must come dressed to play baseball, this includes baseball pants, baseball hat and sneakers (since the tryout is indoors, no cleates are allowed). If you are a transfer student, you must have a release form filled out.
