Kings Point, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team was defeated on the road at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) 3-0. The Bloodhounds lost by scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-7 to fall to 0-2 on the season.
Rosmery Martinez (Santo Domingo, DR, James Madison)had a team-high four kills, while Justyna Kopec (Nowa Deba, Poland, Franklin D. Roosevelt) added three.
Three players led USMMA with four kills each.
