New York, N.Y.— The John Jay rifle team, for the fourth consecutive year, were victorious at the Big Apple Championship as the Bloodhounds fired a 2110 in air rifle to defeat SUNY Maritime, who shot a 2006, at the John Jay Rifle Range on Saturday.
 
In the victory, Kerri Hansen shot a 550, while Willard Finich nailed a 543. Robert Connelly got a 514, followed by Matt Coangelo with a 503.
